Nintendo Nirvana
For months Carson had been begging for a Nintendo DS. Jared and I weren't too keen about it, but we said if he wanted one, he could save up his money to buy one. We pointed out that we had a Wii, so why spend the money on another Nintendo device. Well, apparently this 8 year old had other ideas, so for almost a year he's been saving and saving and saving. Any Birthday and Christmas money he received he saved. All allowance he saved. He even has been doing extra chores like pulling weeds to earn a little extra cash. Finally, he had enough money to buy a DS.

Ya know, I just see the excitement. I mean yes, there's that definite glow in his eyes, and sure there's that cheek to cheek grin...but I don't know...it's just hard to tell if he really likes it ;)

That is amazing he was so determined to save up for something like that and do extra work to get it. Pretty cool.

i like how jared thought that one nintendo thing is "enough", cause i'm pretty sure he had every nintendo thing invented when he was a kid.

Jon just got one of those game chips from Asia where you can download games from the internet. So we don't need the games we owned before because they are all saved on there. If Carson would be interested in Zelda or Under the Knife (a ridiculously fun surgery game) let me know. We even have the boxes. Can you say free Christmas presents? :)
Looks like fun to me!! I thought it was so cute when Mitch was in ML last year and Carson would not leave his side while he played his DS. Good for you, Carson!! I've never been great at saving my money. Just don't charge your sister to play it.
